Wolfgang WOSSNER
The career of Wolfgang Wössner is characterized by versatility. He spent his childhood in a small town near Schramberg in Germany, where, very young, he received his first clarinet lessons, saxophone and piano. He continued his training at the Conservatory of Karlsruhe where he received a prize of clarinet (in the class of Wolfgang Meyer), saxophone and arrangement. During those years, he played in various instrumental ensembles (Jazz Orchestras, Orchestras and Big Bands varieties) and performs regularly as a musician in the Orchestra Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. Wolfgang Wössner studied the direction of conductor at the Zurich Conservatory with Franco Cesarini. From 1989 to 1998 he was assistant conductor and clarinet of the Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg Harmony.
