: John Blanken est né en 1969 à Groningue aux Pays-Bas. Il débute un cursus musical dès son plus jeune âge et caresse lÌambition de devenir musicien professionnel alors quÌil fréquente encore les bancs du lycée. Au Conservatoire de Groningue, il obtient un prix de trompette et de direction dÌorchestre à vent. Ses études au Conservatoire achevées, il travaille principalement en tant que musicien free-lance, mais sa carrière prend un autre tournant lorsquÌil rejoint les Éditions De Haske à Heerenveen. Parallèlement à ses activités au sein de cette maison dÌédition, John Blanken cultive sa passion pour la direction.John Blanken was born in 1969 in Groningen, the Netherlands, and started making music at an early age. During his time at secondary school, he developed the ambition to become a professional musician. At the conservatory of Groningen, Blanken graduated with degrees in trumpet and wind band conducting. After his studies at the conservatory, he primarily worked as a freelancer. This changed when he accepted a job with De Haske Publications in Heerenveen. In addition to his work for De Haske, John Blanken is also active as a conductor. His ambition to arrange and compose music eventually led to the publication of a number of works with De Haske Publications BV.John Blanken wurde 1969 in Groningen in den Niederlanden geboren und begann schon früh zu musizieren. Während seiner Schulzeit reifte in ihm der Wunsch, Berufsmusiker zu werden. Am Konservatorium von Groningen erwarb Blanken Abschlüsse in den Fächern Trompete und Blasorchesterdirektion. Nach seinem Studium am Konservatorium arbeitete er zunächst als frei schaffender Musiker. Das änderte sich als er begann, für De Haske Publications im holländischen Heerenveen zu arbeiten. Neben seiner Tätigkeit für De Haske ist John Blanken auch als Dirigent aktiv. Sein Ehrgeiz, selbst einmal Musik zu arrangieren und zu komponieren führte schließlich zur Veröffentlichung einer Reihe von Werken bei De Haske Publications BV. |
