Domenico Gaetano Maria Donizetti, better known under the name of Gaetano Donizetti, born November 29, 1797 in Bergamo, died April 8, 1848 in Bergamo, was an Italian composer. Although his repertoire as a composer includes many genres, including religious music, pieces for string quartet and orchestral works, he is best known for his book lyric.
