Calvin CUSTER
Calvin Custer (1939-1998) ha frequentato la Carnegie Mellon University e la Syracuse University. I suoi insegnanti di composizione includevano Nikolai Lopatnikoff, Ernst Bacon, e Earl George. Ha anche studiato direzione d'orchestra con Karl Kritz, primo direttore musicale della Syracuse Symphony. Custer è stato associato alla Syracuse Symphony Orchestra durante la maggior parte della sua carriera musicale prestando servizio alla tastiera, sezione corno e contrabbassos; tenendo varie posizioni di conduziones; e servendo come arrangiatore del personale.
