Micaël CORTONE d’AMORE Né à Nice en 1970, Micaël Cortone d’Amore débute ses études musicales au C.N.R. de Nice, tout d’abord en classe de piano. A 12 ans, sa rencontre avec Bruno Zambon, professeur de tuba, fut déterminante dans ce qui allait devenir sa carrière. Il obtient un 1er Prix en saxhorn-basse en 1987, puis un 1er Prix en tuba en 1991. Le grand tubiste Melvin Cubertson fut son maître de 1991 à 1995. Tout d’abord au Conservatoire de Perpignan où il obtint un Prix d’Excellence en 1993, puis au C.N.S.M. de Lyon où il fut admis cette même année. En juillet 1995, Micaël Cortone d’Amore est engagé comme Tuba Solo à l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg et professeur de tuba au C.N.R. de Strasbourg. Durant trois années, il dirigea le grand ensemble de cuivres du Conservatoire. En parallèle, il se produit régulièrement en soliste, tant en récital avec piano qu’avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg avec lequel il a interprété le Concertino de Jan Koetsier en octobre 1996, puis le Concerto de John Williams en mars 2001. Il est également le tubiste de l’Euro Brass Quintet Strasbourg. Born in Nice in 1970, Micaël Cortone d’Amore began studying music at the CNR in Nice, at first in the piano class. At the age of 12 he met Bruno Zambon, tuba teacher, which was to influence greatly his career. He won First Prize in saxhorn in 1987, then first Prize in tuba in 1991. 1991 to 1995 he was taught by Melvin Cubertson, a great tuba player : first at the Conservatoire in Perpignan where he obtained in 1993 a Prix d’excellence and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon where he was admitted the very same year. In July 1995 Micaël Cortone d’Amore was appointed as soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and as a tuba teacher at the Conservatoire National de Région in Strasbourg. During 3 years he directed the great brass ensemble of the Conservatoire. Besides that, he performed regularly as soloist, as well for accompaniment with piano as for the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg with which he interpreted the Concertino of Jan Koetsier in october 1996, as the Concerto of John Williams in March 2001 too. He is also the solo tuba of the Euro Brass Quintet Strasbourg. 1970 in Nizza geboren, begann Micaël Cortone d’Amore mit seinem Musikstudium im Conservatoire National de Région in Nizza, zuerst in der Klavierklasse. Als Zwölfjähriger traf er Bruno Zambon, Tubalehrer, was entscheidend für seine zukünftige Laufbahn sein sollte. 1987 erhielt er den ersten Preis für Saxhorn und 1991 einen ersten Preis für Tuba. Zwischen 1991 und 1995 war der berühmte Tubaspieler Melvin Cubertson sein Lehrer : zuerst im Conservatoire de Paris, wo er 1993 einen Prix d’excellence erhielt und dann im Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon, wo er im selben Jahr zugelassen wurde. Im Juli 1995 Begann Micaël Cortone d’Amore seine Laufbahn als Solotuba im Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg und als Tubalehrer im CNR in Strasbourg. Drei Jahre lang dirigierte er das Blechinstrumentenensemble des Conservatoire. Daneben trat er sehr oft als Solist auf, sowohl für Solokonzerte mit Klavierbegleitung als auch für das Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, mit dem er im Oktober 1996 das Concertino von Jan Koetsier interpretierte wie auch das Concerto von John Williams im März 2001. Er spielt auch als Solotuba im Euro Brass Quintet Strasbourg. |
