Michel LEGRAND
Michel Legrand, born February 24, 1932 at Becon les Bruyeres (near Paris), is a composer, director, actor and screenwriter French of Armenian descent living in the Valais. He is the son of composer Raymond Legrand (1908-1974), brother of singer Christiane Legrand and nephew of conductor Jacques Hélian. It is also the father of Eugenie Angot French international rider. Legrand has composed more than 200 frames for film and television, several musicals, and has, to his credit over 100 albums. He won three Oscars (out of 13 nominations), five Grammys and was nominated for an Emmy.
